Captured on an iPad simulator using a staging demo account on 11 September 2026, app version 2.2.1. Names and scores are fictional. This walkthrough covers local, two-player Quick Game using the touch scorer. Beta screens and availability may change; it does not certify online, tournament or organisation-tablet workflows.
01
Set up a game before the first dart
Start on Home and open Quick Game. This walkthrough uses two fictional players, Demo Alex and Demo Jamie, starting at 501 in a best-of-three game. Two leg wins decide this game; the match screen separately awards one match point.
- Leave 1 Player Practice and Vs DartBot off for a two-player game.
- Enter both names, or select the correct existing players. Use my profile is optional; it is not needed for a guest opponent.
- Check Start score, Best of legs and Who starts. Our example uses Choose first leg.
- Tap Start Quick Game, then Start Game on Match. Choose the player who actually throws first.

02
Read the board and enter a visit
The header identifies the current leg and best-of format. Each side shows its remaining score; LEGS is the game score. The highlighted player is the current thrower. LAST SCORES contains recorded visits, not the numbers still waiting in the input box.
In the standard scorer, AVG is the current-game three-dart average, DARTS counts darts in this leg and LAST is the latest visit. Averages continue across legs; the leg's dart counter starts again.
- Check whose turn it is, then enter the total scored by the visit, from 0 to 180.
- Check TOTAL SCORE before tapping Submit Score. For example, 60 from 501 leaves 441.
- Use backspace to fix an unsubmitted digit. Record 0 for a no-score visit.
- After submission, check the new remaining score and the change of thrower before entering the next visit.
This is manual scoring: enter what was actually thrown. A suggested checkout does not detect a hit or automatically award a finish.

03
Use presets for common visits
Tap PRESETS on the standard touch keypad to open the quick-score sheet. In normal TOTAL SCORE mode, tapping a preset records that visit immediately and closes the sheet. It replaces any digits already typed: do not press Submit Score again afterward.
In this demo, tapping 100 changed Alex from 501 to 401 and passed the turn to Jamie. Presets are a faster input method, not a different scoring rule.
Check the input mode first. With Easy Score enabled, preset values are interpreted as remaining totals. Keyboard score-sheet shortcuts behave differently: they fill an entry that still needs Enter.

04
Choose your own preset scores
Preset Scores is in the main Settings screen, not the in-game settings panel. The list is stored on this device and used by both the preset sheet and integrated tablet layout.
- Finish or leave the active scorer using Back, then open Home → Settings.
- Under GAME SETTINGS, open Preset Scores.
- Enter the scores in the order you want, separated by commas. Use whole numbers from 0 to 180, for example 26, 60, 81, 100, 140, 180.
- Tap Save, then reopen Preset Scores to check the list. Return to Match → Resume Game if you left a game unfinished.
Check every value before saving. Invalid entries are filtered; an empty or entirely invalid list does not replace the existing presets.

05
Keep presets beside the keypad on iPad
Open the scorer's cog, enable Integrated Preset Layout, then tap Close. The tablet layout brings the numeric keypad and preset grid together, with smaller score panels and recent visits above. Inline presets record immediately in normal TOTAL SCORE mode.
You can set the same preference before play in Home → Settings → Game Settings. It becomes the device default for future games. Phones retain the standard layout.
Integrated Preset Layout hides checkout suggestions, even when Show Checkouts is on. Switch it off to see suggested finishes again. This is a layout choice, not a missing checkout entitlement.

06
Make the scorer easier to read
Tap the cog during a game to open Game Settings. Switches stay open so you can change several preferences, then use Close to return to scoring. Main display preferences are shared with Settings and saved on this device.
- Show Checkouts displays suggested finishes in the standard layout.
- Large Score Input enlarges the entry bar and submit button, hiding the AVG/DARTS/LAST row.
- Prominent Recent Scores gives the latest visits more space. Older visits remain in the scrollable history.
- Show Averages is available in the main Settings screen for supported layouts.
- PD360 Score Sheet is a separate supported-tablet layout intended for Bluetooth or USB keyboard scoring. This guide demonstrates the standard touch scorer, not that keyboard workflow.

07
Use checkout suggestions without changing your throw
With Show Checkouts on and Integrated Preset Layout off, a finish appears beneath a remaining score when a route is available. The example shows 100 left with T20, D20: treble 20 followed by double 20.
Treat the route as guidance, not a requirement. Enter the actual visit total, including misses or a different valid route. The app still needs your accurate score and finishing information.
If the suggestions disappear, check the layout first. Not every remaining score has a valid three-dart double-out finish.

08
Confirm the dart that finished the leg
Enter the checkout total once after the player finishes on a double or bull. When Game Finished! appears, select the dart that actually ended the visit. The available choices depend on the finish: this 100 checkout offers 2nd Dart and 3rd Dart.
The prompt's Game Finished! wording can also appear at the end of a leg in a longer game. After the finish is accepted, the game-shot display appears. A non-final leg advances to fresh starting scores; a game-winning leg opens the completion summary.
Do not tap repeatedly during the finishing prompts or transition. If you opened the prompt by mistake, cancel it before choosing a finishing dart, then correct the entry.

09
Record doubles attempted, not just doubles hit
Enable Track double attempts in Game Settings or the main Settings screen to collect checkout-attempt information. When a visit needs clarification, the app asks how many darts were actually thrown at double or bull. Choose the count that happened, not all darts in the visit.
For example, T20, a missed D20, then D20 finishes 100 on the third dart with two double attempts. A setup visit can offer 0 attempts. Obvious cases can be recorded automatically; impossible counts are not offered.
Use Skip when offered if you do not know. Do not invent a count. Recorded attempts support checkout-rate statistics; missing tracking is not proof that no doubles were attempted.

10
Correct a recorded visit
Tap the incorrect item in LAST SCORES to open Edit Score. Check the player name, enter the correct visit total and tap Update. In the demo, changing Alex's recorded 100 to 140 changed the remaining score from 401 to 361 without giving Jamie another turn.
Before submission, use backspace instead. After submission, edit the visit that is wrong. The touch scorer does not need a separate universal Undo button.
- Find the recorded visit under the correct player; scroll the history if necessary.
- Enter a whole-number visit total from 0 to 180 and tap Update, or Cancel to keep it unchanged.
- Check the corrected history, remaining score and active player before continuing.
A recorded visit cannot be deleted here. Use 0 only when that visit really scored zero. With Easy Score enabled, this dialog expects the corrected remaining score after the visit instead of the hit total.

11
Enter the board's remaining total with Easy Score
Use Easy Score when another board or scoring system is the main record and you want to enter its remaining total. Open the cog, enable Easy Score and choose This game or Entire match. Close the panel and check the Easy Score ON indicator and REMAINING SCORE label.
In the example, Alex has 100 left. Entering 40 shows Inferred hit: 60 before submission. Tap Submit Score only after that preview matches the actual visit. The app records the inferred 60 and passes the turn normally.
This still records one visit for the current player. Do not enter the hit total in this mode. Blank submission means a zero-scoring visit; explicitly entering 0 means a checkout attempt. Disable Easy Score to return to TOTAL SCORE entry.

12
Handle a bust and keep the correct turn
A bust records zero for the visit, leaves that player's remaining score unchanged and passes the turn to the opponent. It does not give the same player another visit.
In the demo, entering 180 from 141 produced a zero visit for Alex, kept Alex on 141 and made Jamie the active player. If it was a typing mistake rather than a real bust, correct the recorded visit before continuing.

13
Recover a wrongly entered winning score
At the beginning of the next leg, Return To Previous Leg is available before any new darts are entered. Tap it and confirm Return. It restores the previous leg's winning-score entry point without resetting the rest of the match.
In the demo, returning from leg two restored Alex to 100 and Jamie to 241, with the previous visits intact and the input cleared. Enter the correct visit before continuing. Once the next leg has scored darts, this shortcut is no longer available.
At the game-complete summary, use Return To Game for the corresponding correction. Do not accept the next-game or next-match action until you are satisfied with the finish.

14
Leave an unfinished game and resume it
Use the standard scorer's Back button to leave the game. On the calling Match screen, the game now shows Resume Game. Choose it to continue the existing game rather than starting another Quick Game.
Our resume check restored Alex on 40, Jamie on 241, the recorded visits, Jamie's turn and the game-scoped Easy Score setting. Keep the app's local data if you have unfinished scoring; a local save is not a verified cloud upload.
Finish Match is not a pause button. It can finalise a match, including an early finish after confirmation. Use Back and Resume Game when you intend to continue later.

15
Review the game before accepting the result
After the game-winning leg, check the winner, final leg score and player statistics. The summary includes Legs, Avg, Fi9, 100+, 140+ and 180. The example is a two-nil game win, worth one match point.
Return To Game takes you back to the winning-score entry point for correction. We tested it: the demo returned to leg two with Alex on 141 and the typed checkout cleared. Accept the result using Next Match in this Quick Game; other formats can use a different continuation label.

16
Finish the match and open the report
After accepting the game, Match shows it as Completed with View Result. Tap Finish Match and confirm when the whole match is done. Quick Game Complete then offers Return home, New quick game, Play again and View report.
Use View report to inspect the saved result. The one-nil match-point result and two-nil leg result describe different levels of this same example; they are not contradictory scores.
This walkthrough covers a local Quick Game. A synced league fixture additionally needs its final upload to be confirmed; a game checkout alone does not finish or verify a cloud fixture. See the team-fixture guide for that separate workflow.

Continue to the team-fixture guide for fixture permission, Finish Match and upload checks. For help with an unexpected result, keep the app data and contact support with your build, format and reproduction steps.
